Using PTDTPA with Wanderhome

If you want to use tokens instead of rolling to travel, then:

Get a token when you enter farmland or gentle wilds.

Spend a token to reach rough wilds, a barrier, or an unfriendly area. Put spent tokens in a pile.

Once your pile of spent tokens has at least 3, you can get a token and enter a town. Once it has 6, get a token and enter a city, or spend a token to enter the deep wilds.

Demons in Wanderhome

A demon is a spirit that causes problems for people. They are often the manifestation of old conflicts between people, or with nature, or of other wrongs done. If you are playing without traumatized traits, you may want to consider not including demons.

In Wanderhome, the problem a demon causes is probably more subtle than mere violence, although violence could be part of the demon’s story: for instance, a ghost from the war that still tries to protect the old farmhouse (dead, feral).

Pick 1-2 of the following: furious, grieving, hurt, starving, dead, royal, miraculous, oracular, witchy.

In addition, you might want to add one of these traits: crafty, ambitious, cunning, venerable, resolute, raucous
